Agile and Project Management

Leading projects and teams with agile, flexible, value-driven methodologies

AGMC’s Agile and Project Management practice supports companies seeking to manage projects and teams in a more flexible, collaborative way while responding more effectively to change. The Agile approach was developed to address complex, constantly evolving environments, where requirements change rapidly and the ability to adapt becomes a competitive advantage.

Agile principles are rooted in the Agile Manifesto, which is built around four core values: individuals and interactions over processes and tools; working software (or products) over comprehensive documentation; customer collaboration over contract negotiation; and responding to change over following a rigid plan. Building on these principles, we support organizations in adopting a practical and sustainable Agile culture through dedicated leadership, management, and training programs.

Agile Leadership

Agile transformation is not simply a matter of tools or processes: first and foremost, it is a cultural change that starts with the people leading the organization. Agile Leadership develops a leadership model suited to complex and rapidly changing environments, where leaders move beyond command and control to create the conditions in which teams can perform at their best and fulfil their potential.

Traditional leadership models, based on rigid hierarchies and top-down control, reveal their limitations in uncertain and rapidly changing environments. Agile Leadership addresses this challenge by shifting the focus from “giving orders” to “creating value through people.” We develop a leadership approach inspired by the concept of servant leadership, in which leaders remove obstacles, foster autonomy and accountability, promote transparency, and support the continuous growth of their people.

Feedback

An Agile leader knows how to define and communicate a clear vision, build trust, delegate effectively, and manage uncertainty without transferring anxiety to the team. Agile leaders know how to ask the right questions rather than simply provide ready-made answers, helping people develop solutions they can truly own.
Our programs develop practical skills such as active listening, constructive conflict management, giving and receiving feedback, and facilitating group decision-making.

The goal is to develop leaders who can guide self-organizing, motivated teams, create a collaborative and psychologically safe working environment focused on continuous improvement, and actively support Agile transformation at every level of the organization.

Agile Management

Embracing agility also means rethinking how projects, activities, and priorities are managed.

Agile Management applies Agile principles and values to day-to-day operations, moving beyond the rigidity of traditional models towards an iterative, incremental approach strongly focused on customer value.

In traditionally managed projects, everything is planned in detail at the outset and value is delivered only at the end—a fragile model when requirements change along the way. By contrast, the Agile approach divides work into short, repeated cycles, each of which delivers a concrete, usable outcome.
This makes it possible to gather frequent feedback, validate decisions throughout the project, and adjust direction quickly, reducing the risks and waste typically associated with long and inflexible projects.

We support companies in introducing Agile management practices, including adaptive planning, backlog-based prioritization, workflow visualization—for example through Kanban boards—work-in-progress limits, and short, effective alignment meetings.

We help teams:

An Iterative and Incremental Cycle

Agile Management increases project transparency, strengthens team engagement and accountability, and enables organizations to respond more rapidly to market and customer needs.
The result is a leaner, more collaborative management approach that keeps the focus firmly on outcomes that generate real value for both the organization and its customers.

SCRUM Learning

Scrum is the most widely used Agile framework for managing complex products and projects. It is a lightweight framework defined in the Scrum Guide by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland, designed to help people, teams, and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions to complex problems.
Through our Scrum Learning programs, we provide teams with practical knowledge of the framework and support them in applying it correctly.

Scrum is based on empiricism—transparency, inspection, and adaptation—and five shared values: commitment, focus, openness, respect, and courage. The framework has a clear structure consisting of:

Our training programs make these concepts practical and applicable to each company’s real-world environment, combining theory, practical examples, and exercises.
We go beyond simply explaining the “mechanics” of the framework. We help teams understand its underlying logic and avoid the most common mistakes associated with superficial adoption—so-called “Scrum in name only” implementations. We develop teams capable of working iteratively, collaboratively, and in a self-managing way, as well as key professionals—such as Scrum Masters and Product Owners—who fully understand their roles and responsibilities.

The goal is to ensure that Scrum does not remain a theoretical concept but becomes an everyday practice that improves work quality, delivery speed, transparency, and customer satisfaction, laying the foundations for continuous improvement driven by data and experience.
